As a mother of 2 children, one with diverse abilities, Amanda understands the importance of growing confidence for the younger generations so they are aware of how to protect them selfs appropriately.
As the owner of Ryoho Inclusive Martial Arts, Amanda combines her extensive background in social services, specialized care, and martial arts training to help individuals build confidence, resilience, and personal strength regardless of ability or life circumstance.
Based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Amanda’s work is rooted in the belief that martial arts and movement can serve as powerful tools for empowerment, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth. Her coaching approach emphasizes adaptability, and individualized support, particularly for individuals with diverse abilities, physical challenges, anxiety, trauma-related experiences, and unique developmental needs.
Amanda’s martial art's foundation was developed through training with Toshido MMA and Kelowna Women's Boxing Team, where she continues to expand her skills and learn from a variety of respected instructors and training communities.
